If I don’t bring internet to the house my wife will ask for a divorce

Translation text:

Question: وهذا حفظك الله يقول: قالت لي زوجتي: إن لم أجعل وأُدخل لها الإنترنت في المنزل فإنها ستطلب مني الطلاق، يقول: ما نصيحتكم لي ولها في هذا الأمر؟ And this one, may Allah preserve you, says: “My wife told me that if I don’t bring internet to the house then she will ask for a divorce. What is your advice for me and her regarding this matter?”

Shaykh Salih Al-Fawzan حافظه الله الجواب: نقول: أبرك ساعة… إذا طلبت الطلاق وهي ما تقبل ولا تطيع زوجها فأحسن له يطلقها يسلم منها ويرزقه الله خيرًا منها. We say: (This is) the most blessed hour! If she asks for a divorce and she doesn’t listen to her husband nor obey him, then it’s better for him to divorce her, he will be safe from her, and Allah will provide him with a better one than her.
